Hi, this is Bob Waggoner. I created TripleRing Productions and along with my wife Gwen, co-owner Guy Vesco, event director and new partner Gina Evans we plan to bring an element of cycling that I really enjoy to Butte and Southwest Montana.TripleRing Productions is a tax-exempt, 501c3 non-profit educational association. Donations to TripleRing Productions are generally tax deductible. TRP's tax identification number is 27-1221289.
Presently Montana has a pretty good Mountain bike and Road bike racing series, but not much in the way of endurance Mountain bike racing. My goal is to change that. I have spent the last ten years racing 24 hour events in the US and Canada, I'm looking at bringing that to Montana as well as 100 mile endurance racing.
This site is designed to make contributing information as easy as possible – please make comments. I'm keen to get in touch with anyone who might be able to help add new content or edit/ update material.
Aid stations
Yes you can drive to #3 and #6. Both have a fair amount of parking space. I don't have a problem with it as a spectator in fact I encourage it. There won't be #9 though.

Hey Bob- Thanks for the
Hey Bob-
Thanks for the written descriptions. I have a few other questions, especially since I am not GPS capable
What are the mileage markers for the aid stations?
What is the elevation gain between each aid station?
What are each of the aid stations stocked with?
Will you have written instructions for support vehicles to reach each of the aid stations?
When is the racers meeting?
thanks!
Aid Stations
Milage to aid stations isn't exact yet but they are approx. 15 miles apart.
Aid stations will have water and Hammer Nutrition products but I haven't received the yet. We have large containers for you to put drop bags with most of your nutritional requierments, these will be taken to all Aid stations. We try to discourage racers with their own support vehicles (mostly against the race rules).
100 mile racers meeting will be Friday evening at 8 pm.
Lookig forward to seeing you!
Bob

Follow this slight downhill to a signed left turn. Go up following signs, you will soon start the Fish Creek decent. This is a steep rocky downhill so follow flagging down. There will be several small creek crossings that are ride able then at the last creek crossing better to jump it off your bike. After this crossing follow flagging left and start Toll Mountain switchbacks up. Follow flagging through some of the most fun single track around. You will come to Highway #2 crossing and continue up the Beaver Ponds CDT to well built switchbacks. At the top of these switchbacks you will have another extremely fun trail to finish the race. Thanks for the great course
Thanks for the great course description. Is there any way to add the mileage point to each aid station? It would be great to be able to compare that to the elevation profile to estimate time and elevation gain to each aid station.
Thanks
Bad Garmin
Anyone want to buy a Garmin GPS unit, I'll sell it cheap.

Bob
Housing Coordinator
Hi all-
I don't know how much need there will be as many prefer a hotel to floor space the night before a race but I know for some folks coming from out of town extra floor or bed space is often appreciated. I am starting a list so if you are a local here and have some space to offer please get in touch with me and let me know what you can offer (bed vs floor, how many etc.). If you are coming in from out of town and would like some local hospitality please let me know how many you are and how long you'll be here for and I can get you set up as best as possible.
Easiest way for me is via email...snack64@yahoo.com
looking forward to a great turnout and a great race!
